How does the extension connect to my home, and is it fully weatherproof?

The connection between your new extension and your existing home is a key part of the overall project and is carefully planned from the outset.

In many cases, the extension can connect directly to your home, depending on your existing structure, such as fascia and soffit height.

Where a direct connection isn’t suitable, a link corridor can be created between the house and the extension. Your builder will then complete the connection and weatherproofing to ensure the space is fully sealed and protected from the elements.

The best solution will depend on your home, and we always recommend discussing this with your builder during the planning stage.

What’s included?

We install the insulated steel structure, including roof, windows, and doors. Internal finishes are completed by your builder.

Who prepares the base?

A concrete base is required and prepared by your builder before installation. We provide specifications in advance.
