We’ve been involved in designing and manufacturing units for water pump houses for over 35 years and have worked on many high profile projects. We regularly work with Patterson Pumps in Mullingar to design and manufacture pre-packaged fire pump houses for their customers.
We design and manufacture customised pump houses that will fit the specific pump including the required ventilation openings. We build the shed around the fire pump to create Pre-Pac Housing, using a minimum of 40mm Kingspan Firesafe panels, but 60mm, 80mm and 100mm panels can be used to make the unit Building Standard Part L Compliant. As well as that the pump houses are insurer approved and manufactured using fire-safe PIR insulation.
We manufacture the pump houses at a Patterson Pumps facility on a unitary baseplate including all suction and discharge valving, test lines and are ready to install on delivery to the worksite. The pre-fabricated pump house building is wired to support an electrical system, lighting, heating and ventilation system, so the units are ready to work straight away. As we can manufacture the pump houses at Pattersons Pumps, it reduces the onsite building costs. The pre-fabricated units have been shipped all over the world from the UK, to Turkey, Estonia and Ecuador as well as all over Ireland.
All of the pump houses are built using high tensile galvanised steel frames, that have been designed by our structural engineers. Our heavy-duty galvanised frame makes the pump houses tough and extremely durable, not to mention that they are maintenance free. This means that the pump houses will remain functional, safe and dry, whatever the weather brings.
Shanette steel buildings are manufactured according to the strict building standards CE Certification and BCAR Compliant. The CE Certification apply to the design of buildings and the requirements for resistance, serviceability and durability of steel structures. This ensures our sheds are built to withstand Irish Wind and Snow loadings. Our structural frames are the strongest on the Irish sectional shed market.
